Join the Wellbeing in the Digital Era Workshop at the University of the Aegean and
experience the charm of Mytilene. Convenient travel options and nearby accommodations ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The Workshop will be held at the University of the Aegean, University Hill. The University of the Aegean represents a historical attempt for the Greek University area, since its foundation in 1984. The University of the Aegean is a multi-insular entity with units/Schools and Departments located on six (6) Aegean islands and in this regard is the most geographically dispersed university of the country. Basic and applied scientific research at international, national, regional and local level has been carried out in all Departments by the scientific staff of the University through various projects, publications and conferences (applied research, development interventions, etc.).
Mytilene is the capital and main port of Lesvos located on the eastern coast of the island, opposite the shores of Turkey. It is built amphitheatrically between seven beautiful verdant hills which end to the natural port. The town consists of old neighborhoods and picturesque suburbs whereas the interesting structures and the archaeological monuments witness the rich heritage of the island. The Conference will be held at the University of the Aegean.
Mytilene, the capital of Lesvos Island, is accessible by both air and sea, offering convenient travel options for visitors.
For those arriving by ferry, the port of Mytilene is centrally located, with taxis and public transportation available for onward travel.
